Write for The Careerist

If you have a great idea for an article related to career development and advancement, it would be my pleasure to feature it as a guest post here on The Careerist. Well-written stories derived from personal experiences are especially welcome.

Interested? Please just follow the process and guidelines below to get started! If you have any questions, feel free to contact me.

The process

  1. Download and complete the article template
  2. Email the completed article template to me at: contact@thecareerist.com
  3. I will inform you within 48 hours as to whether or not your article has been accepted
  4. I will edit your article as necessary and schedule it for publishing within 14 days

The guidelines

  1. Your article must be original. Please make sure that your article has not been published elsewhere on the internet, including your own blog.
  2. Your article must be more than 500 words in length. Our readers like to sink their teeth into meaty articles, so let’s make sure we give them what they want.
  3. You can include only one link in your byline. Within your guest post template, you’ll have the opportunity to include a one or two sentence byline that tells a little about your background. Please feel free to include a link back to your website in this area.
  4. You can include a maximum of three links in your article. I’m not looking for articles riddled with links to other websites, but feel free to include three if you wish.
  5. I reserve the right to edit your article.  Please understand that I may have to edit your article slightly for grammar, readability, etc.
